I have been meeting and dealing with some of the most wonderful people throughout the world through Ebay.

However a few of the worst also.

There are innocent errors and mistakes happen, but there seem to be a few very bad apples.

1. Ebay states, check out a seller and Buyer's feedback to get a feel. One big problem with that.

I have 100% positive feedback and I wish to keep it that way. But there are 3 instances that could have change that. So don't fully trust feedback.

2. Paypal payments for under $19.95 do not offer buyer protection. Paypal will not except a chargeback after 30 day's, not right in my book, but that is there policy. So do not be gracious as I used to be and allow people time to get the purchase out to you.

3. Ebay sends you a list of links when you have a problem, so don't count on them to help.

My bad experiences with individuals on Ebay are to warn you of certain people who you should use caution dealing with on EBAY. And do not fully trust positive feedback as gospel.

I have a new one to add one, Unpaid item strikes. I just recieved three .. from the same seller.. I especially didn't appreciate the outcome of. I am just about ready to say good bye to Ebay over this one. If you are a crook, you can use bait and switch, ignore e-mails, lie and lie again you can succeed on Ebay because you are a welcome seller there.

How do you get rid of an unpaid item strike.. Pay the crook.. I am serious that is the only option given.

One an individual "sevenchildren" goodbyeluna@attbi.com that decided to assume because I owned a website, I had a profit in mind by purchasing her pirated, copyright violated, CD.

I didn't have a profit in mind, I was interested in a county history for research and saw a cd I hadn't seen available. Then I saw it was for sale by a geneological publishing company who most likely had been the source for her CD reproduction.

I asked her why she claimed it was her copyrighted production, inquiring what she had added to edit the original to be in a position to sell it as a copyrighted work? No reply.

She had taken my payment and ignored my emails for shipping info and questions were never answered or replied to, never sent what I suspected as the proof of her violations, the CD I had initially purchased. My questioning did indeed ire her, But I never would have asked them had she not blocked me from purchasing the offered works and when I inquired was told she assumed as I had a website I would sell her property, the cd I ordered. I took offense and asked for the mentioned proof she had produced and edited an original product to justify her claim.

So yes we would have nothing nice to state about dealing with each other. If I stated in feedback I never received the goods, she would have shot back her negative feelings toward me.

Second Individual, "Totally Ty" dawndie@vendio.com and another email addy used dawndie@mailstep.com was right out of some horror flick. I pay all purchases as soon as I recieve notice I won and have a final total. This person sends harrassing emails daily, requests asking for payments as each item closes, fine. Except she states on her sales page to ignore e-mails when making multiple purchases. I emailed her at each request for payment information, offering to pay as the auctions ended and for her to hold them till the final item aution ended for the combined shipment. My e-mails were ignored or probably sent to a delete box as she must get them from everybody bidding on her auctions as this is an automated email set-up by her. Well thats fine but.

When you ignore or auto-delete buyers emails you are looking for trouble. Bad business and really stupid individual judgement to handle an ebay store "business".

So I paid at final close a new total amount. Not even sure if I had paid as the others closed which would have been small item charges. I await a shipping notification and get more automated requests for payment. I request shipping information as it was paid. I am ignored. So you wait for your goods to arrive as this person ignores email replies to her idiotic automated requests for payment. Finally. I get a threatening email requesting payment. ?? I reply to her contact which at this point I have two email contacts no biggie I have several myself.

I send off a copy of the final paid invoice a few weeks go by, Pathetic isn't it. I get another batch of requests for payment. In this email it is a form mail that states, "we" ( great, two idiots ) cannot find a record of your payment and we have mulitiple payments for which we have no items referenced.

Great, you are asking me over and again for a payment you can't find, but you are stating your idiocy that you don't have a record of who paid for what??

Well I ask who the paypal payment would have named as I had a 100 transactions and I could have paid individual items as closed because of the request harrassment,also. Because as I look over what payments went through my bank and credit cards I am seeing many possible payments but not the exact amount to a Dawn ( You see any irony in that name) I send on the payment reciord I find through Vendio.

They cannot find that payment, but send me a new invoice number. Now that was strange why do I need a new invoice number if the one I sent showing paid was mislaid?? Well I figure alright this is ridiculas. I can chargeback a duel payment if it shows up on one of my cards. So I log into my Paypal and make a direct send money payment to "Dawn" requesting notification and recipt of this payment and the shipping info, figuring we have just communicated through email and they will get this while I have their collected attention. No reply, no shipping confirmation email, nothing, nada.

A few weeks pass. Multiple requests for ( you got it, payment). I am furious these (two) are either the biggest idiots known to man or shisters. I am at this point leaning on the shister side.

I send off an email accusing them of fraud at this point and I am not saying it nicely anymore.

They have mutiple unknown payments and cannot find one that is mine. I ask for a refund. They don't have a record I paid, so how can I expect a refund.

Note still wanting my 100% feedback which I deserve. I contact ebay as they are threatening a non-payment charge with ebay. I get that Ebay help email I warned you all about a list of links and how to be patient while the seller works with you, blah, blah. Squaretrade, well that sounded good for the first idiot. File a complaint about "Miss CD". and about "Dawn" . Miss CD is terrified and rightly so, the now assumed copyright violater, keep your money but no CD shipped, sends off any cd I request as she lies through her teeth that she shipped my original purchase. One thing was wrong with her attempt to lie. I had paid for shipping insurance she had no proof of purchasing it. So I get a CD finally and leave her alone to wonder if she will ever be slapped with a copyright violation notice.

Nothing, no reply from "Dawn". I get a phone call This is "DAWN" ack!!!! We do not have your payment, gadzooks, what a freak!!!. I stated when you stated that in the last email I went to squaretrade and would only accept a refund and not to ever email again. Do not call me ever again.

Ring, Ring. Don't you hang up on me till I finish!.. Ack!!. I hand up. Ring Ring. I rush to the Utah state attorney website as I was looking for a complaint contact form. I see their number and call to relay they have a wacko selling on ebay that requests multiple payments and then call requesting the same, they were not only dimwits, but threatening and harrassing dimwits.

I am told to contact my local authorities which I do and I learned to *57 to get a record of repeated harrassing calls. Call your local athorities to see if that is correct for you too you never know when you may need the documentation. I contact Ebay about this wacko and I file a fraud claim with Paypal.

Next day, "Dawn" answers the complaint at squaretrade she has found one of my payments ( Two were made at the least, remember) and shipped my purchases. "What you freak" I think, "do you think I would touch anything shipped from a nutcase!!" I state they will be returned, if the carrier is caught attempting to deliver, if I missed him, they would be trashed. I requested a refund I had no further intention of dealing with "them".

Wondering who "them" is at this point "good Dawn" and "evil Dawn"

Well months later Paypal found in my favor and "Dawn" refunded a single payment, the last.

The following day I get another paypal email saying they found in her favor as she had shipped the purchases to remit the refund. Yeah and my first born.

So did I leave feedback. Noppers so "They" "Dawn" could leave negative for me saying I didn't pay "them".

Finally, a, anything but, "LadyEleanor" kittyandthekittens@tiscali.co.uk Paid for an item and requesting the usual notice of shipment. recieve no reply. Time passes, another e-mail request for shipment info. No reply. Finally threatening email about contacting paypal with fraud charge. No reply. Time passed, now not realizing that Paypal had a 30 day refund request limit, not timely enough I believe as some things arise and 30 days can easily pass as you await a few weeks for arrival and offer the courtesy of time between emails so. I am out of luck. I contact squaretrade. Squaretrade receives no reply. I looked at my cC info today and it is just past 60 days so she bought time and I am out of a money and no item.

Don't wait beyond two weeks for a reply and seek a refund fast when you have no contact from a seller. I'll bet they contact you if you withdraw your payment. But I wouldn't bet on it.

If you look at these people as I initially did they have hundreds of feedbacks, but a limited number are negative, so how many more hundreds did as I did, moved on not wishing to have an unjustified return negative feedback for their stupidity.
