Getting a few good link backs to your site is really important. It helps to give you a larger web presence as more and more people will see your link, more people will visit your page.

Links are a great resource that compliments your site and can send your hits through the roof.

Although don't forget to check your links, because unfortuntely some sites tend to abuse the simple curtesy of links. Why send hits to a site that either never preformed the promise link back or just decided to remove your site without even bothering to notify you.

A good place to start finding good sites to link to would be at the Hitbox. Browse through their listing and try to find a site that matches your interests. Find a site that gets about the same amount of hits as you do, and e-mail the webmaster. There are thousands of websites listed in the Hitbox site lists, it would be really hard not to find anything.

There are also FFA links page. These are quite nice because you are free to add your link and its then usually added within seconds! There are tons of these all over the web, and they can prove to be a good source of free advertising if used right. Submit to several that relate to your business then submit the same pages to at least a few of the top search engines hopefully your add didn't roll off the pages before they can be counted as links to your site.
